ILA & USMX Reach Tentative Deal

A second U.S. port strike was averted as a deal was struck between the International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA) and the United States Maritime Alliance (USMX) late Wednesday 1/8/25. The two parties reached a tentative agreement on a new master contract that covers ports from Maine to Texas one week before the deadline was set to expire.
