Honoring the Backbone of Logistics: Celebrating Truck Driver Appreciation Week

At eShipping, we know behind every shipment, every delivery, and every mile traveled, there’s a dedicated truck driver making it all happen. Starting September 14 through September 20 is National Truck Driver Appreciation Week (NTDAW).  We’re proud to take a moment to recognize the individuals who keep our supply chain moving day in and day out.

Why This Week Matters

National Truck Driver Appreciation Week is an annual event starting back in 1988 by American Trucking Association chairman Don Bowman to spotlight truck drivers’ contributions, ensuring they receive the recognition for fueling our economy and sustaining our way of life. Today, more than 3.5 million professional truck drivers log billions of miles each year, delivering all kinds of goods from critical medical supplies to everyday household staples.

The Unsung Heroes of the Road

Drivers face long hours, unpredictable weather, and time away from their families—all to ensure that freight arrives safely and on time. Their commitment, resilience, and professionalism are the foundation of the logistics industry. At eShipping, we see firsthand how vital their work is to our customers and our communities.

Our Commitment to Drivers

As a 3rd Party Logistics Provider (3PL) we have an extensive partnership and carrier network across North America. We’re committed to supporting drivers through clear communication, efficient scheduling, and a culture of respect. We believe that when drivers are supported, the entire supply chain benefits.

We encourage you to join us in showing gratitude this week. Our eShipping Distribution Services team will be welcoming drivers with appreciation treats this week. Whether it’s a wave on the highway, a thank you at a truck stop, a shoutout on social media, or hosting a small event every gesture shows how much we appreciate them helping keep the supply chain rolling.

Thank You, Truck Drivers
